El Faro Gallery is a newly opened art gallery on king street. We have a large furnished center space that we use to host opening nights every Thursday night. We've got tables, chairs, ottomans, cushions that you are welcome to setup (or pack-away) any way that you'd like.
We think it's a great venue for running workshops as there's already a lot of creative energy flowing through the building. Of course students and teachers are welcome to check out the connected galleries before or after their workshops. Great material for getting inspired!
We love the idea of the building being used as a conduit for helping people along in their creative journey's no matter where they are at.

The workshop / gallery / photoshoot / multi-function space is approx 80sqm. The space costs $50/hr.
p.s. Our event space is not wheelchair accessible at all, it is on the second floor up 21 stairs with no elevator.

We are a gallery space that runs regular art shows, on a very fast paced basis. We also run workshops in the centre for those wanting to dip their toes into. We want to become a true third space for people to share in their creative pursuits no matter where they are in their journey.
